Ms. Chen Jingyue, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of CEATEC, met with Ms. Marielle-vander Linden, Deputy Head of Economic Section First Secretary of the Embassy of the Netherlands

On February 16, 2022, Ms. Chen Jing Yue, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of CEATEC, met with Ms. Marielle-vander Linden, Deputy Head of Economic Section First Secretary of the Embassy of the Netherlands in China. Both sides had an in-depth discussion on jointly promoting economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Dutch companies in the fields of energy technology, biomedicine, agri-food, new energy vehicles, etc.

 

Ms. Chen firstly welcomed the visit of Ms. Linden and her delegation, and briefly introduced the organizational structure and the business development of CEATEC in recent years in the fields of new energy vehicles, medical and health care, cross-border e-commerce and other industries.Ms Chen said that CEATEC is willing to give full play to the advantages of the platform to work closely with the relevant Dutch institutions to help the two-way economic and trade exchanges between Chinese and Dutch enterprises.

 

Ms. Linden, Deputy Head of Economic Section First Secretary of the Embassy of the Netherlands in China, introduced the distribution and composition of the Embassy of the Netherlands and consulates in China, as well as the strengths of Dutch industries, including agri-food, life sciences, energy, technology and innovation, transportation and logistics. Mr. Luuk Hoefsloot, First Secretary of Economic Affairs of the Embassy of the Netherlands in China, and Mr. Jingmin Kan, Senior Advisor for Innovation,Technology and Science, also spoke on the potential opportunities for cooperation between the Netherlands and China in promoting corporate social responsibility and in the field of science and technology innovation.

 

Both sides expressed that they would establish closer cooperation in the future, further strengthen information exchange and jointly promote practical cooperation between enterprises in China and the Netherlands at various levels.

 

The relevant persons in charge of Automotive Affairs Department, Exhibition Department and International Cooperation Department of CEATEC accompanied the meeting.
