On May 14, 2021, CEATEC delegation headed by Ms Chen Jingyue, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of CEATEC, visited Xi’an Economic and Technological Development Zone in Shaanxi Province. Mr. Zhang Jun, deputy director of the Administrative Committee of the Economic Development Zone, received the delegation.

Mr. Sun Xiaokang, director for investment promotion of Xi’an Economic and Technological Development Zone first introduced the history of the Economic Development Zone to the delegation. In recent years, the Economic Development Zone has established a "4+4+4" industrial system with the goal of building a high-quality development demonstration zone for advanced manufacturing in the western region.

Mr. Zhang Jun said that the Economic Development Zone is willing to communicate and cooperate with the CEATEC, and hopes that the two parties will strengthen communication and contact, and promote more China-Europe cooperation projects to land in the Xi'an Economic Development Zone.

After the meeting, the delegation made a site visit in the zone.
